As I've said before the deficit has little effect on the budget deficit. What Al Thomson is doing, in the Hunts Post, is creating an urban myth rather than looking into why HDC has a deficit. This deficit was around long before Pathfinder House was built. There is no overspend on Pathfinder House so no cost cutting exercise as a result. Mr Thomson where is your evidence to back up your lies. So all the ignorant aren't in St Neots. There are some in Huntingdon. Whilst the layman may not know who does what, the Council Taxpayer should know as the information comes with the Council Tax bills.
