I had this thought over Djanogly's appeal over his expenses. What I find strange in all this is Djanogly has exercised his undeniable right to appeal Legg's decision over his expenses claims. This obviously effects Djanogly financially and, of course, he did appeal his expenses claims.
When it comes to wind farms Djanogly takes a different approach. On his website he says:
"I am disappointed to learn that N-Power have decided to appeal the decision made in November by HDC’s Development and Control Panel, it shows little regard for local democracy."
So it is OK for Djanogly to appeal against a decision on his expenses claims.
It is NOT OK for a Power company to appeal against a planning decision.
Why the difference?
