More dodgy statistics from Martin Land!

I'm always wary of political statistics. So I thought I was gobsmacked by the following claim:
From this part of his leaflet you would assume the Labour share at the Fenstanton by-election sank to 5%. Look at the table below:
The Labour vote didn't sink. In fact the Labour vote stayed stable at 5%. The Liberal Democrats devalue themselves by using statistics in a dodgy way.

Another example of Land's failure to understand his constituency.

People don't want cheap political pot shots, they want to know what the candidates are going to do.

And what is Land actually saying here?
"Vote for me to keep the Tories out".
Wow, that's sold me.

The majority of people in Huntingdon would prefer a Tory Govt to a Labour one, and frankly many of us aren't convinced by a hung parliament or the chance of a Lib Dem majority.

What the Libs need to do is attract the traditional Tory vote, not attack it.

Djanogly should have been vulnerable because of his 'by the rules' expense claims. I cannot bring myself to vote for him this time because of his unapologetic stance to the fact that he paid back abotu £20k. He clearly doesn't feel it's that big a deal.

I want to vote Lib Dems to keep him out. But they have put up this petty candidate fighting a negative campaign - and not even doing that very well.

All I'm hearing from them around here is the Conservatives are bad. So having voted for them my whole life, I guess that makes me bad also. And a racist too it seems.

I'll vote - but not for either of the two main candidates.

The Lib Dems thrive on questionable statistics.

They still use 2005 statistics in Norwich south and totally ignore the big increase in support for the Green Party. NS is awash with Green posters and boards. The greens have increased their cllrs in every local election and in the Eutros last year, all of that is ignored by the Lib Dems. Lib Dems also claim they are a strong opposition party on Norwich City Council. If that is true why do they have only 6 cllrs to the Green party 13 cllrs? When it omes to the city council elections and the euros they go all quiet on the topic of Green Party cllrs as ther is no way of spinng such raw hard figures showing greens more popular than Lib Dems. They turn their spin on the Labour party for the aforementioned elections.

The thought of Lib Dem spin in Government horrifies us.
