Town Mayor Gordon Thorpe and his New Year Message.

In a previous post I was quick off the mark saying there was something amiss with no message from the Town Mayor Gordon Thorpe and Town Council Leader Julia Hayward giving the message instead. Back then I said:

Liberal Democrat Council Leader Julia Hayward and not the Town Mayor Gordon Thorpe wrote this message. Ramsey, Huntingdon and Godmanchester messages were from their respective Town Mayors. Is this a snub for Town Mayor Thorpe? Again this was a good news message without mentioning the 2 damning reports into the Town Council by external auditors.

It was pointed out by the Editor of the ever excellent News and Crier that I was being hard on Cllr Thorpe. His New Year Message would be in this week's edition. Well it is. As with Julia Hayward's message it was yet another all good news message without even mentioning the 2 damning reports into the Town Council  by external auditors. So not much different from Julia's original message?!
